Lion years to human years
Do you want to convert lion years to human years? There's no straigtforward formula to do it, but we've aligned lion and human life stages so to give you a better understanding of a lion's age.
As lions have a shorter lifespan, they develop much quicker. For example, lion cubs are weaned at the age of 6 months and learn to hunt at 11 months. Lions reach sexual maturity at the age of 2-3 years and can start mating at this age.
So it's clear that one lion year is equal to several human years.
